About TechPastWeek
The tech week, recapped. Independent tech journalism for people who build, buy, and decide.
Last updated: September 2026
TechPastWeek is a weekly technology publication covering artificial intelligence, software, hardware, security, cloud infrastructure, and the startups building what's next. We launched in 2026 with a simple premise: the week moves fast, and most of what matters gets buried under what doesn't.
What we do
Every Sunday we publish a briefing that distills the week's most important technology stories into something you can actually use. Between briefings, we publish deeper analysis and practical guides — the kind of reporting that helps working engineers, founders, and operators make better decisions.
How we work
- Sourced. Every story links to what it is built on, and numbers, dates and quotes are checked against the source before we publish. When we get something wrong, we correct it in the open — see our editorial standards.
- Practical. We favor analysis you can act on over hot takes. If a story won't help you build, buy, or decide, it's not going in the briefing.
- Independent. We are self-owned and take no payment for coverage. The newsletter is free, we run no third-party trackers, and any sponsorship is clearly labeled.
Who we are
TechPastWeek is written and edited by our editorial team. We use AI tools for research, drafting and translation, and a human editor reviews and signs off on every article before it is published. That is why our stories carry the TPW Editorial byline.
English is our original edition. Our German, Spanish and French editions are translated from the English with AI assistance and reviewed before publication. Read how we work on our editorial standards page.
