RWE Will Build a 400MW Battery at Moerdijk to Ease Dutch Grid Congestion
RWE took a final investment decision on 21 September 2026 to build a 400MW/1,100MWh battery at its Moerdijk power station in the Netherlands, with commissioning set for 2028.
